Brigadier General Eric W. Lind

Brig. Gen. Eric W. Lind is the Assistant Adjutant General, Air at the Joint Force Headquarters, Maine Air National Guard, Camp Chamberlain, Augusta, Maine. General Lind serves as the principal advisor to the Governor and The Adjutant General on a broad range of matters concerning the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard. He is the primary advisor to The Adjutant General for all Air National Guard units in Maine and ensures the combat readiness and mission capability of an Air Refueling Wing and two Geographically Separated Units.

General Lind was commissioned in August 1991 through the Academy of Military Science. His military career started by enlisting in the Air Force in 1980. He also served as an enlisted member in the Maine Army National Guard, and the Maine Air National Guard. He served as both the Director of Human Resources for the Maine Army and Air National Guard. General Lind has been requested by-name several times to assist at the national level to work on a variety of difficult personnel issues because of his expertise in human resource management. Prior to his current position General Lind was the Director of Staff for the Maine Air National Guard.
